On January 19, eight 3rd- 4th grade students participated in a spell-off to determine the top four spellers! All students did a great job, and we are proud of them for making it to the Spell-off! Congratulations to Spelling Bee Champion Addison Friesen! Second place went to Kinley Costello, third to Esther Quick, and 4th to Bess Cusick. Way to go, spellers!
On February 7, Berean Academy hosted the ACSI 5-8th Grade Local Spelling Bee! The day began with grade-level bees, where the top four from each grade-level bee advanced to the 5th-8th Grade Spell Off. Jersey Busenitz (7th) and Finnley Walter (6th) represented Berean in the spell-off, which comprised 16 students from Berean Academy, Central Christian Academy, Central Christian School, and Elyria Christian School. Congratulations to Jersey Busenitz for placing 3rd!
