Kansas Congressional Art Competition

Eight Berean students entered artwork in the Congressional Art Competition for high school students. Rep. Ron Estes of the 4th District hosted a reception in Wichita on Saturday, April 20, for the winning entries. The 4th Congressional District competition had 385 entries from 257 students representing 24 high schools in six counties. We are excited to announce that three Berean students received recognition in the contest! Congratulations to Clara Busenitz, who placed 2nd overall with her watercolor painting, “Potential.” She also placed 1st in the watercolor category. Adrienne Mullins received an Honorable Mention in watercolor for her painting, “Sunset Arch.” Eben Busenitz received an Honorable Mention in the Ink category for his drawing, “Kansas Skyline.” With such a large number of entries in the contest, we are very proud of these Berean artists!
