Berean Academy has added the position of Spiritual Life Director this year to bring more intentionality to various aspects of discipleship currently in place and look into new ones that would be healthy for Berean. We are pleased to announce that Josh Brinkerhoff is filling this new role. He is currently teaching Bible classes, organizing chapels, overseeing the student discipleship program (small groups), helping with the scope and sequence of the Bible department, planning the Spiritual Emphasis Week and Missions Emphasis Week, and continuing work on establishing curriculum for a senior reflection paper. He is looking forward to finding out what other schools are doing, attending certain conferences, and reading helpful resources on how this position could best contribute to the flourishing of Berean Academy and the formation of our students and help strengthen our partnership with the home and church. Jesus states in John 10:10, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Not only does Jesus provide eternal salvation, but he provides us with a new life right now as we pursue Him with all of our hearts. The deepest peace, joy, and purpose are found in living out the design of our Creator as His image bearers, powered by the life-giving relationship we have with Him. What an adventure! That is living life to the fullest, and we pray this becomes a reality for all our students.
