Ten Berean Academy high school students are participating in Chick-fil-A Leader Academy™, a national high school leadership program focused on impact through action. Each year, the group chooses a community service project for "Do Good December." This year, the team invited the Berean student body to encourage local nursing home residents, who might not have visitors due to Covid-19 restrictions, through a Christmas card drive. The cards were carefully crafted, penned, and prayed over before being picked up for delivery.
The K-12 Berean student body collected over 2,000 hand-made Christmas cards. The cards were delivered to several nursing homes in Newton, Whitewater, and Wichita on Friday, December 4.
